The exploitative actions of humans using natural resources has finally caught up with our generation and we are starting to see physical repercussions from those actions. Due to the negative changes we are seeing in our environment there has been a call for review on the actions of companies and the everyday usage of individuals. Even though there is not enough action being implemented in our government to change our consumer ways, the conversation is being started. In regards to the story of climate change I wanted to explore what role the human plays. We are the cause of this deterioration, yet we are also the victim. My project "Meet the Consumers" is an embodiment of our western consumption and the mindset we have adapted. Once we're able to identify our harmful habits we can hopefully come to a self reflective mindset that will change our environment to a sustainable state.
